For decades, top contemporary artists have visited Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village, CO to produce quality limited edition prints in the Patton Print Shop. Bringing artists of all mediums together with technically skilled printers, Anderson Ranch Editions houses a diverse collection of these unique artworks on paper. Prints by leading artists, including exciting emerging talent and those well established in their field constitute the Editions archive. Under the new direction of master printer, Brian Shure, the Anderson Ranch Editions fine art print publishing program is embarking on a new chapter of artistic collaboration.
Anderson Ranch Editions is invitation-based and focused on allowing artists to realize their fullest aesthetic vision.
The Haas Brothers
The artists, twin brothers Simon Hass and Nikolai Haas, run a furniture design and fabrication studio out of Los Angeles, from which they create everything from set design to wearable art, masks for Lady Gaga to gold-leafed furniture for Louis Vuitton stores. Nikolai apprenticed as a master carver and Simon studied blacksmithing at the Rhode Island School of Design—and together their pieces, while sleek, still retain some traces of artisanal handiwork. Their seating and vessels often combine futuristic finishes with biomorphic forms.
