Katia Santibañez (b. 1964, Paris, France) is a New York based artist who creates organized abstractions through painting, drawing, and printmaking. Her work embodies the two conflicting worlds of nature and architecture. She received her B.F.A. from the School of Art in Paris, France. She has participated in numerous exhibitions some include the Jancar Gallery, Los Angeles, CA, IPCNY, New York, NY, and Pierogi Gallery, Brooklyn, NY. She is represented by Morgan Lehman Gallery, New York, NY. Her most recent exhibits include New Paintings, a solo show at the Texas Gallery, Houston, TX, and the group show, Twenty by Sixteen, curated by Geoffrey Young, Morgan Lehman Gallery. Her work is in various New York collections such as The Morgan Library, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, and The New York Public Library.
