Victoria Burge works across several disciplines, with a focus in drawing and printmaking. Her imagery is built using systems of mapping to generate abstracted cartographies of imagined terrains. The artist’s works are in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Yale University, the British Museum, and the Spencer Collection at the New York Public Library, among others. Burge has also been awarded grants from the Independence Foundation in Philadelphia and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation in New York and is the recipient of a 2018 MacDowell Colony Fellowship.
