Collection: Nina Jordan | Fourteen Homes for 129K
"On July 19, 2022, I took a virtual tour of the United States on a popular real estate site. I searched all 50 states for homes for sale for exactly $129,000. I was able to find properties at that price in all but 8 states. Here is a selection of my favorites."
– Nina Jordan
In 2023, Nina Jordan published Fourteen Homes for 129K in collaboration with Planthouse. This edition features woodcut prints highlighting "individual access to housing and emotional attachments to living spaces," as described in an essay by Juan Gabriel Ramírez Bolívar for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. "Her work ultimately connects the physicality of constructing a house with the found timber used in her woodcut matrices, creating a profound commentary on the intersection of materiality, shelter, and survival in contemporary society," he writes. Nina Jordan is this Planthouse's "Guest List" selection this Fall.
Planthouse will break up two portfolios; Individual prints are available.
