A comic narrative by Bradford accompanies a collection of Webster's childhood monster drawings from the 1970s.
CHUCK WEBSTER Webster is a recipient of the Rosenthal Family Foundation Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and was a 2018 National Academy Affiliated Fellow at the American Academy in Rome. His work is included in numerous private and public collections, including those of the Baltimore Museum of Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
ARTHUR BRADFORD
Bradford (b. 1969, Boothbay Harbor, Maine) is an O Henry Award winning writer and Emmy-nominated filmmaker. His writing has appeared in Esquire, McSweeney’s,Vice, Men’s Journal, and many other publications. His first book, Dogwalker, was published by Knopf and Vintage paperback in 2002, and has been translated into ten languages. His latest book, Benny’s Brigade, is a children’s book, published by McSweeney’s in September 2012. His next book of stories, Turtleface, will be published by Farrar, Strauss, and Giroux in February 2015.
