Richard Dupont | New Prints

June 11 – August 2, 2024

In the past year, Planthouse has collaborated extensively with Richard Dupont on a wide range of editions which have grown out of his works in ink and watercolor. The exhibition brings together these works, as well as newer prints made specifically for the exhibition. A range of approaches has been explored, including etching, wood engraving and screen printing. The exhibition will includeS a large work in ceramic tile produced with the Ceramica Suro studio in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Richard Dupont (b. 1968) was born in New York and received a BA from the Departments of Visual Art and Archeology at Princeton University. Dupont’s works have been exhibited at numerous museums including The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, San Diego, CA (2016); The Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland, OH (2015); The Underground Museum, Los Angeles, CA (2014); The Museum of Arts and Design, New York, NY (2014); The Queens Museum, Queens, NY (2013); The Middlebury College Museum of Art, Middlebury, VT (2011); and The Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, Peekskill, NY (2008).
