Wuon-Gean Ho graduated with a BA in History of Art and professional license as a Veterinary surgeon from Cambridge University before taking up a Japanese Government Scholarship in 1998 to study woodblock printmaking in Japan. She later graduated with distinction in 2016 from Printmaking (MA) at the Royal College of Art, and then was etching fellow at the Royal Academy Schools in London for two years.

From 2019–2023 Wuon-Gean created and was the inaugural editor of the IMPACT Printmaking Journal, an academic, peer-reviewed journal at UWE Bristol. Currently she is pursuing a part-time PhD on tacit knowledge in relief printmaking processes, and how these can be captured and conveyed with alternate means.

She exhibits her award-winning prints, books and animations internationally. Most recently she had solo shows in Hong Kong, China (2023) and Buffalo, USA (2024). She lives and works in London.
